At 3RDesigns.com, we receive multiple requests for a “redesign” of a website. We typically proceed with caution when discussing the possibility of re-designing a website due to the complexities of the process. We may find that the website that was originally built through a Wordpress Blog or a Template from a bundled software package. In these cases, it’s much easier to “reinvent” the website and allow your company to have access to the latest technologies available. There have been many advances in HTML coding, Java, CSS, and search marketing to warrant the need for a brand new website. You may find that reinventing the website actually SAVES you money versus the cost of troubleshooting old, outdated websites for the “simple” re-design.

I think all professional creative-types would agree, the toughest client we will ever have, is ourself. This dilemma stretches across all creative industries. From architects to web designers, whether adding on a family room or designing a new logo, when “You” are the client, the project takes on another whole level of hell. I am not sure why this is. I don’t know if any one does. The best solution I have found is to discover what is your creative personality.
